Our main office

is located in Bayville, New Jersey along with our shop and storage facility, our other location is our waterfront terminal located in Toms River, New Jersey.

Bird Construction was founded in 1964 by Albert Stork and Dominic Crowe. (Hence the name Bird) In 1964, Albert Stork and Dominic Crowe left George W. Rogers Construction Corp. a major New York Marine Contracting firm to open and operate Bird Construction. Over the next thirty years, Al Stork and Dominic Crowe have established Bird Construction as a premiere Marine contractor in New Jersey.

In 1994, James Hannon left Brand Marine Services Corp. to purchase Bird Construction to continue Al and Dominic’s legacy of outstanding craftsmanship and service. The Hannon family brings over 100 years of experience in the New York, New Jersey Dockbuilding, Piledriving and Marine Construction Industry.

Bird Construction is managed by a team of seasoned professionals. Our passion is building marine structures with integrity, quality and commitment, backed by 53 years of experience. We go the extra mile on every project as client satisfaction is our key core value.
